LITT 2017 Update: Day 1

Participants from across the country converged at the e-library of Godfrey Okeye University, Enugu today 16th October, 2017 for the annual Library and Information Technology Today (LITT) workshop 2017. The workshop commenced immediately after registration with the first session on “Modern Tools and Apps for Client-Library Interaction in the Digital Era” was facilitated by Mr. Ejike Igwebuike. The participants were introduced to mobile applications and tools for client-library interaction in the digital era.

The workshop continues tomorrow with the Opening ceremony slated for 9:00 am in the morning. Professional colleagues, seasoned academics as well as other dignitaries are expected to grace the opening ceremony. Two sessions on “Exposure to Cloud Infrastructure for Effective Library Services Provision” and “Practical Guides on Koha Open Source Library Management Software” will take place after the opening ceremony.
